For All the Saints!

The saints are everywhere, here in New Orleans: we wear them and cheer for them as our team and we honor those who have gone before and care for our cemeteries. burial and memorial gardens. Once in a while it is good to remember that we are the saints of God as well – in our time, in our congregations and in our classes, in our faithful journeys. For every saint, this is the season – a time to cheer, a time to remember, a time to celebrate. Cpme join us at The Chapel of the Holy Spirit on the corner of Broadway and Zimple:

Sundays 10 am with Fellowship and Discussion
5:30 pm followed by Dinner

Thursdays 5:30 Supper at Canterbury House
7:00 Holy Eucharist in the Church

Come and join us as we celebrate Reformation Sunday in the ELCA Lutheran tradition. We will honor Martin Luther’s posting of the 95 Theses in Wittenberg in 1517 and the vibrant global Lutheran faith traditions in sacrament and song. Michael

The aroma of Michaelmas still lingers in the Chapel while we look forward to Tulane’s Homecoming, celebrating Reformation Sunday will All Saints Day on its heels. Come join us for Sunday or Thursday fellowship and worship – or it all.

Afternoon tutoring with the STAIR program has begun; it is so our pleasure to have the building full of reading. As it is to be sharing space with the Tulane Catholic Center. Stop by if you are in the neighborhood!
