Celebrating Life!

Celebrating Life!

Halloween, All Saints and All Souls have come and gone. We have let go of “daylight savings time” and dusk falls fast in the evenings. At the Chapel, we are planning how to make use of every inch of our space for studying for finals; the end of the semester feels near. Thanksgiving is around the corner.

We are in Pentecost’s last days. Our Christian New Year will begin on the first Sunday of Advent, December 1, moments after turkey and dressing are barely a memory. “The times, they are a-changing,” Bob Dylan sang long ago. Yes.

Remembering to breathe deeply is always a good thing in such times. Right behind breathing is the reminder with which we begin The Holy Eucharist: “Lift up your hearts.” And know that the Chapel is in your corner: for worship or a bite to eat, a study break, conversation or coffee or quiet.

3-7 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays-Fridays

Sundays: 10 a.m. Holy Eucharist followed by Fellowship and Sermon Discussion; 5:30 p.m. Holy Eucharist followed by a Free Dinner

Thursdays: 5:30 Supper at Canterbury House; 7 p.m. Worship in the Church
